We have stayed at O'Neil Creek campground three times now, but only once since purchasing our PUP. It is a nice campground, but the campground is definitely geared more to their seasonal campers than it is to overnight campers. We have family members with a permanent site at this campground and stay here to visit with them.

There is a pretty creek that runs through the middle of the campground, but only seasonal sites are available along the creek. They have two playground areas, a small beach along the creek, tubes to rent for floating, a small mini-golf course, a wagon ride and other planned activities for kids. The campground is located very close to Leine's Lodge in Chippewa Falls, which is one of our favorite destinations when we visit this campground. There are a few wineries near by and Loopy's Bar & Grill offers a fun tube float down the Chippewa river. O'Neil Creek is also close to Lake Wissota for fishing and boating. This campground would also make a good place to stay if you were going to any of the local music festivals in Cadott or Eau Claire, but I probably would avoid this campground if you were looking to getaway and get into nature.

Pros:
Lots of near by activities
Things to keep kids occupied
Clean bathrooms (Free Showers)

Cons:
Small sites (not wooded)
Lots of golf cart traffic
Lots of seasonal campers
