@grandpa-don, I got me an Aliner Scout Lite because I got tired of not being able to stand in my previous micro camper, a Runaway Navigator. So far i's been great, for two years. Now, I don't boondock, so that might be a handicap for you. Maybe the Aliner Expedition could be a good fit for you. You would just have to try one (maybe rent?). For me and Houndini, the Scout Lite fits the bill: I feel safe in it, so far it's been dry, very easy to set up, and is a breeze to tow with my Honda Pilot.

Whave a 2011 aliner so far so good, we bought it in 2019, my husband keeps looking at other types of campers as we're driving ours, he says how about that one?? I'm like noi like what we have!

The problem is that there are no dealers very close to me. I think there is one down in the Los Angeles area, but that's nearly 200 miles away. The dealer that was only 30 miles from me doesn't carry them any longer.

Not trying to talk you into it, butt we found ours on Facebook market place. Just dumb luck.
