Propane fridge question

My fridge works great on electric but when I put it to propane it Burns for a few seconds and then goes out relights Burns for a few seconds goes out and does that forever and doesn't seem to get cold. Shouldn't the flame stay on constantly Anyone have any ideas on this issue

Aaron, please provide make and model of your frig if you want reliable answers. e.g., Dometic RM2193 had a bick sticker in the rear of the interior.

I figured out how to get the burner box cover off. When i light it flame is coming out of the air holes on the burner jet assembly. I guess hou would call the the venturi holes

Ok so searching youtube i cleaned the burner and was still getting the same result. The previous owners never used the propane. I then found on a different chat board to clean the flu. And found when i blew it out with my compressor that there was a critter nest in there. Cleaned it all up an it is now working as it should.
