Looking to build up interest in a rally on Jan 18 thru Jan 20 for Lake Texana campsite near Edna ,Tx. Reservation window just opened. I have site 117, Robin 118 Lonestarcamper. Hope you can join us. Richard & Mary Jane,Robin

That is a little bit of a haul for us. At any rate, we have a scout campout planned that weekend. Y'all have fun!

Sneezer, down the road maybe a rally closer to your location may happen. Note any one can host a rally, like in field of dreams, host a rally, they will come. I usually limit myself to a 4 hr trip driving distance. That is why some here get there early and sometimes host a welcome dinner for those arriving later.

No problem. I don't mind the drive but if my son comes along that is the limiting factor since I would need to leave Saturday morning early. Hopefully I'll make one of them, even if it is just me going solo.

We have another site on 116; Russ Hooper and 13 yo grandson Alex.
They will be in a class C motor home.
Possibly my brother Colin will visit as he has done before, depending on motorcycle driving weather.
My popup will be full of ladies who love the camping experience, and hopefully Barbara from several years ago, who I am trying to convince. Richard, you took care of her “vegetarian” needs so well!

Looking forward to mild weather for this. I’m bringing bikes, and maybe kayaks as weather allows.

Robin, looking forward to being there on January 18, notice to all, the Wal-Mart in Edna has been closed. So make sure you plan accordingly. Only grocery store will be H.E.B downtown Edna. HEB had charcoal, 1 lb propane gas bottles and of course food.
