I complained to Renogy that their DC-Home app is not putting my charger controller's data on the front page of the app - it just shows zeros. (the data is there in all its glory on the next page of the app - after you tap the controller icon/name).
Here is the response from Renogy:
We have confirmed with the technical department that this controller is a relatively old product type. We are deeply sorry that it is not compatible with our current DC Home APP.
I purchaased my 30A Renogy Rover PG 3 yrs 11 months ago. Its not old!
Their response is a crock of s__t.
Its either wrong, and their programmers (of the DC-Home app) are incompetent) or its correct and they are worse than Detroit at obsoleting stuff.
I am beginning to think that all the Renogy stuff is designed 100% overseas and Renogy USA is just a storefront, meaning that their so called tech support is not capable of understanding what is in front of them (my wife calls such folks "Phone Monkeys").
But at least they gave me an answer !
