Spring 2018 Central Texas Rally

Ok Puppers, it's officially Inks Lake for the Spring Rally 2018 , May 18-20. I'll be your Wagonmaster for this one.

I am up at Inks for the week now. Here is what the Ranger told me works best for reserving with groups. Those who want to go it on your own, they highly suggest you get your reservation in very soon.
I will offer this as suggested by the Ranger:

I will reserve 5 additional sites for 5/18-20 when I reserve mine. That means I will put the deposit on them. I will actually reserve and come up early on Tues 5/14 or Wed 5/15 myself to get my site. I was told to go to the office at 9:00 am May 18 and pay the balance on the remaining 5 sites so that they can be assigned and hopefully close together. However, if someone is in the site, they may stay until 2:00. This is the best way for me to try and get at least 6 sites as close together as possible.

Here is the catch, if you want one of those 5 sites, you must be one of the first 5 to send me the $46 for two nights (Fri-Sat).
I will keep you posted as to how many have been paid and spoken for.

Dear Puppers,

I regret that I will have to change the date of the Spring Rally 2018 at Inks Lake to the weekend of May 4-6.
At this time (Nov. 11), there are 65 water and electric sites available.
Also, I will only be reserving my campsite as no one responded to my offer to make other reservations.
My plan is to go up by Wednesday, May 2. If anyone has a reservation and wants me to go to the office on Friday at 9:00 am, I can pay the remaining fee and choose the spot. I can be reimbursed after check in.

So sorry for the change, but I found out that my granddaughter's graduation is on May 18th. I may not be the only one affected by graduation dates from mid to late May.

If you have any questions or comments, I welcome them.
Please make your reservations soon so you don't get locked out.

PUPPERS: if you made reservations for Inks Lake Rally on May 4-6, please let me know. As of now 1/15, there are no more sites. If no one is reserved but me, I’ll cancel the rally and other plans can be made by anyone willing.

Sorry you can’t make it Sneezer. It seems that no one made reservations and there are no campsites available now. I will post a new thread announcing the rally cancellation.
