On our trip to Newfoundland on July 2016, I have a reservation at Newman Sound Campground for 3 days. Among all the campground visited within National Park, this is one of the best campground. I rated it high because of the restroom/shower facilities & activity center. The campground have lots of activities during peak season. Young child/children can hangout at the activity center with arts and crafts activities organized by canada park rangers.
On one of night, there is a star gazing activities. A lot of peoples participate on this event. The sky was clear and I was able to learn various telescopes & binoculars. I was also learn basic astro-pictures skillset. The Chapter of the Royal Astronomical from St. John sponsor the event.
