Sara, the steps to the swimming area were damaged and it is closed for safety. As soon as the playground dries a little more it will be good to go!

For everyone, I am bbqing some chicken and have pinto and baked beans, but we do need other main meat dishes to share. I'm just not equipped to cook a large quantity and having come Tuesday, I could not cook at home and bring more. Unless we have a lot of vegetarians out there....

We are definitely bringing 3 slabs of ribs to share! Shall we bring more than one box of pudding prepared? I know parents of kids were going to be bringing pudding so wasn't sure if bringing too much. (Is there really too much? )

What a great Pirate weekend we had at Wolfcreek Park at Lake Livingston! Got to visit with old friends and made a lot of new ones. Shout out to Newbies from Ft. Worth who made the long haul, Inga, ( friend of Kathleen) and Ashley and Casey from Cypress, and Ida and John. It was such a great time and weather could not have been better. Thank you everyone who attended! We had a great time meeting new friends and visiting with existing friends. Jane was so happy to see everyone there. I had my sister and bil there as well it was great. I learned that T-minusRetire's wife Christi and I share the same birthday. Thanks again everyone for making our birthdays special. Lonestarcamper is looking into Inks Lake near Austin for a possible future rally. What do you guys think?

Sallugo and family it was a pleasure to meet you. Casey and Ashley a pleasure to meet you as well. The couple in a Starcraft camper with Ashley good to see you too. Lisa( Sallugo ) the ribs and crack salsa were yummie! Alex the ribs were good too. Mark & Stacy I did enjoy learning about oriental foods, fruits and vegatables. The kids were awesome. Got to hold Lea Beth and Jonas Glover. We had a great time....Richard & Mary Jane
