I have a horrible gag reflex with this stuff, it seriously grosses me out. This seems like an inevitability, and I do not like it. XP
Guess you never had babies and had to deal with a diaper when they were teething. That is truly gag worthy. I put one diaper under the windshield wiper, until we got home. The rest of it is easy after that.

Oh yes, I raised two kids. For some reason infant poop is different than adult poop. Lol Toilets in general gross me out. Haha

I was just asking because the waste tank cap is a measuring cup with 2 ounce line and 4 ounce line...
No worries.
I remember the first time we were adding the chemicals, our crapper cap doesn't have a built-in measure, so we were just kind of eyeballing it and hoping we weren't doing damage; probably said as much out loud. My dh and I looked at each and started laughing, b/c we were turning it into this huge science experiment and it's just crapper.
Oh, and we bought the 8-pack liquid and I think we've now used half of them.

Update...Used the 565E and have to admit it was handy for late night beer drinking potty breaks.
No sewer pickles through it yet and bathrooms are open so that part i can still avoid as of now.

@firepit , are you using your 565E outside within an enclosure? I ordered my 565E and it is on its way. Now wondering what would be a good enclosure? There are many to chose from - ranging from $30s to $100s. I found this, what you or others think?

Thats out of stock for me! Lol. But i will say 50 bucks or so for privacy may be worth it. How bad can it be, its a tent for a crapper? As long as its not see through or blows away while your sitting there , it will probably work out ok:cool:

@Sjm9911 , agreed, for around $50, it is probably okay. If you want, I can buy and ship it to you. Last I saw there were two in stock, one for me, one for you :).

Forgot all about this thread....You were all right....Love the porta potty and use it often and is simple and not stinky.
The only complaint is the built TP holder is junk and not easy to reach and when you do try to use it you just bust off one square at a time.
Love the height as it feels like you are at home.
The height alone and capacity makes it a winner.
A bit late but Thank You for all the help everyone.

we use a 5 gallon bucket with a loo seat, and put in compostible bags, just in case things get down right nasty. There's a Thetford toilet we've never used, and with it came little bags of freshener, so I poured them all into a container and sprinkle that in before use. Then down the pit toilet.
