Pop up under $5,000 and preferably year 2000 or newer, in very good condition, need AC/heat/refrigerator/stove/queen bed. Bonus if toilet/shower/awning included. Tow vehicle can haul under 4,000 lbs gross weight, prefer no slideouts. Wanting to use for camping in parks and for trips around country.

Used campers go fast. Good to have your detailed wish list handy (as you laid-out above) when you're in someone's backyard checking out a camper. eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Market Place and such are your best bets. Always check tires, canvas, lift system, AC, heater, refrigerator, stove and other accessories.

Thanks, Craigslist and FB Market Place have been my usual searches.

You can also check RV trader but a lot of dealers post there as well so I find it's usually newer stuff, but you can get lucky. Sometimes it may be best to not use the word "popup" or other terms in searches as everyone could have a different terminology or miss spellings so the search may not pick it up. Just a pain to weed out the bigger TT etc. Don't be afraid to drive and look in other towns/states. My radius was 5 hour drive from home. You also have to jump FAST if you do find something as other people can jump ahead of you and it's usually first come and sellers rarely hold. Good luck with your search. It can be mighty frustrating process and often a waste of time and money but worth it when you do find that diamond.

A quick search of my area, Oregon/Southern Washington, showed for that 5K there were some pups yr 2000 and newer, but not much newer. As mentioned, be ready with your money and inspection form in hand, and ready to look/deal when you find one that checks your boxes. As Steve mentioned, ones decent looking and reasonably priced for the year go fast.

Good luck with your search.

We paid $5,300 for our 2003 Aliner, and have sunk darned near that amount to make it the way we like it (inlcuding a PV system, SOA etc), including some maintenance costs such as a new axle (with camber) and larger wheels and tires, electric brakes and so forth.
