Sorry I see it's a Coachman...my bad!Coleman used Sunbrella, not canvas.
You are going to want to do what the manual tells you to do...they had the same instruction in 1998 as they do for the new models. Get it wet, let it dry and go camping!Thanks--and a good suggestion. However the manual says very little about care of the tent. It says nothing about the tent marterial. " Wet it before first use", "Always ventilate and allow to dry ...after exposure to moisture." " Rinse with cool water. Allpow the tent to dry completely before lowering."
All in all not much information. in the Manual.
I dont have any info on this situation however my brother gave me a 2005 Coachman Clipper and the lift system doesn't work. He has since passed away and I don't have the manual. I know it's missing parts but nit sure what all is missing. Can you give me a call and possibly send me pics if that part of the manual if you have it. Thanks for any help 6787736537. Anytime before 11pm is fine. Please leave a message if I don't answer.2005 Coachmen Clipper 1070ST ( or Viking) I plam to clean and waterproof in a week or two. I can't find any literature that tells me what the fabric might be. I expect that the top is probably a vinyl, but what about the sides? Most waterproofing materials say not to use them on vinyl.
Can anyone tell me what Coachmen/ Viking was using in 2005?
